Just got a speeding ticket, 84 in a 65, comes with 3 points. I went to court on a ticket a year ago and just paid the fine, no points (Probation Before Judgement). Do I have a shot at getting the points reduced or forgiven if i go back to court? Also, is it worth my while get an attorney to represent me in court? I live in Howard County Maryland

Just take traffic school.
You can take it online.
Complete it and the ticket goes away.

It's so easy, even a caveman can do it!

driving school to drop points

In Maryland, the court has to determine if driving school is appropriate and if attending an approved course will reduce or eliminate points. The defendant on his/her own cannot take the course and assume the points will be dropped.
So, it appears I will have to appear in court.
