I've got TWO WORDS for you, "TRAFFIC SCHOOL".

You can even do your traffic school online!

Take your pick, they all work to eliminate your problem.

Seven points causing you problems, here's how things get better faster!

Here's How it Works

If you stain your driving record with seven or more points a court or a driver's license hearing officer may assign you to a Driver Improvement Clinic. Despite the less-than-happy sounding name, the clinic works to your advantage. Upon successfully completing, three points will be removed from your record.
Clinic Specifics

* Before attending you must pay a $50 fee at any DMV office. You cannot pay at the clinic.

* You must bring the receipt to class, otherwise you will not be admitted.

* The clinic involves one session, lasting four hours.

* Clinic times and dates vary by city. The schedule for the year is posted in January, giving you plenty of time to plan accordingly.

Other Clinic Options

In order to lower points on your driving record, you are allowed to attend a clinic once every five years. But, before attending you must arrange for a hearing with a driver's license hearing officer.

The Driver Improvement Clinic does not dismiss traffic tickets, nor does it help you lower your NC auto insurance rates.

Traffic school probably is not an option with so many other violations. It certainly doesn't hurt to ask, however I doubt the court would be confident that it would make a difference considering the record.

You should expect the worst. Do your best to steer this through traffic school, and if that doesn't work then do your best to reduce it. It might even be possible to have the court impose the fine but withhold additional points that would cause the loss of your license.

Bottom line here... you had plenty of warning already. I suspect the inevitable has caught up to you.
