Spousal Relocation

I was just denied unemployment insurance for spousal relocation and I live in the state of NC. The denial form stated simply "relocation' but the reason for moving 200 miles was so that my child and I could be with my husband. From what I've seen from articles online NC considers spousal relocation as "good cause" and on the denial form it said good cause could not be determined. Is there anything else I should include in my appeal, like that I tried to relocate to my new city with my previous employer who has an office here but they had a hiring freeze, or could not afford two households? And are these types of cases usually approved in NC? Thank you.

If you voluntarily quit then you generally are not eligible for unemployment. ------------------------
