I received four tickets in oragne county texas in 2002. I was driving a commerical bus which went into a skid and I hit the guard rail. It was raining and the tires on the bus were worned down. I was ticked for driving to fast for the conditions, another ticket was for driving a bus with worned tires. I can't remember what the other two tickets are for because I misplaced them. I live in Hareis county texas. I know that there is no statue of limitation for speeding, but I was not ticketed for speeding. What is my best course of action, baecause now the state wont let me renew my license.

You probably have some outstanding warrants on you. Check the Orange, TX courthouse records division so you can see what is out there under your name. Good Luck!

You will have to satisfy the tickets with the court and then pay the DMV to reinstate your license. The SOL does not apply.

Doing some further investigating, this is what I found: the DMV may deny the renewal of a driver's license to any person who fails to appear in a justice or municipal court, but may not deny renewal to any person who fails to appear in a county or district court. The department may deny renewal of a driver's license to any person who fails to pay or satisfy a judgment ordering payment of a fine and costs for an offense in any court that has criminal jurisdiction. Hope this helps!
