Statute of limitations after pleading not guilty

I plead not guilty to a speeding ticket in Albany, NY in March of 2003 and never heard anything until this afternoon March of 05. Is there a statute of limitations on me having to go to court and plead this out?

Not that I know of except in PA. Did you request a deposition? They have to provide one or you can request a dismissal before the trial starts.
