statute of limitations for misdemeanors

I was accused of exposing myself once and was "talked to" by the police. No arrest was made and nothing was made of the incident. I would like to know what the statute of limitations is on such an offense to put my mind at ease that nothing will come back to haunt me in the future. I am in Georgia.
