1 week ago I had 2 vehicles stolen from my home. A suspect was arrested 4 days later driving one of the cars. He was charged with rec/poss a stolen motor vehicle 20-106 as well as carrying a concealed weapon. The DA's office sent paperwork for me to complete about stolen possessions, damages, insurance deductibles.. Etc. Will I be allowed to mention the vehicle that is still missing? What kind of time is he looking at? What type of things could he be libel for? Tossed my registration, son's drivers license. I missed a day of work filing police reports, talking to my insurance company, and going to the dmv for a new license.

I suggest you ask the DA all of your questions.

Will I be allowed to mention the vehicle that is still missing?

Sure, but i suspect that may be a different case file and if the arrestee wasn't caught with the second car and is keeping his mouth shut about it, it might not make any difference if you mention it or not.

What kind of time is he looking at?

No way to predict.

What type of things could he be libel for? Tossed my registration, son's drivers license. I missed a day of work filing police reports, talking to my insurance company, and going to the dmv for a new license.

All of those are consequential damages that you would ordinarily have to sue for in a civil case to get but you might talk to the prosecutor and see if there's a possibility of restitution in the sentence.
