Would it be feasible to sue a doctor's office for a test I didn't need. The cost of this stress test was close to $3000, of which I am liable for a $1000.
It was the nurse in the office who said I had to take the test. The doctor, in a previous visit said I didn't need it. When I asked her (nurse), she said the doctor was mistaken. She wouldn't let me speak to the doctor.
My family doctor, of 3 years, said I didn't need it, and didn't want to give it. He was aware of the false positives, which I got.The cardiologist said I didn't need it either. I was in top physical shape at the time and 60 years old.
I protested bitterly, and wrote the office a letter to which there was no response.
Thank you, Bid

Did you sign a consent for the test to be done?

Hi,
I don't know. Would it have been administered if I hadn't?

It is highly unlikely that you would've been given the test if you didn't agree to it in writing.

So that means you have no case.
