summons for deposition

After signing an agreement with the attorney for a credit card company to withhold a judgement, I was unable to make the monthly payments. I have now been served to appear for a deposition[ 3 years tax returns, bank records etc.]. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. What are the consequences of not showing up? Thanks....
