Supervised estate question

My father passed away in December 2014, leaving myself as his sole heir. His lawyer and I are named co-executors of the estate, and he filed the papers with the court putting it into a supervised estate. I am in the process of having him removed from from the estate, due to a breakdown of trust, but as yet have not received a hearing date. Is there any way for me to do this estate myself? Or go around him? I have done everything so far except petition the court to open the estate.

Without knowing EVERYTHING about the estate, the will, probate, etc... (which you should not share over teh internet), I suggets you consult another attorney in your area and see what solutions he or she might be able to offer you.
