My RI license was suspended approximately 2 years ago for non payment of fine stemming from a failure to report an accident. I did end up reporting it just not until the following day when I was sober:dgrin (no longer drink:angel )so I didn't get a dui. Anyway I showed up to court for my first appearance and plead guilty and recieved about $450 in fines which I could not pay at that time so then I had to go to traffic tribunal in providence which I did to set up payment arragements. Then after going through all that my dumb-ass did not pay the fines. Don't ask me why I am still trying to figure that out. Shortly there after I moved out of state to PA. Next june I am getting married to the most wonderful person in the whole world but she wants to have the cerimony there on the beach and I agree. Now I do not want this silly lack of better judgement to effect me while I am there. So I want to fix this problem before hand.

Q: Is there any way I can fix this from here and not have to go there?

Q: Would there be a bench warrant there issued for me?

Q:If there is how do I solve that on top of the other issue?:(

You or your attorney will need to contact the court and do wahtever is necessary. Probably a personal appearance but an attorney may be able to get that waived. Only the court can tell you. Then you will have to contact the DMV and get your license reinstated.
