i live in michigan and i was pulled over for my second offense driving with a suspended license. when i was pulled over i was in the process of picking my dad up from the hospital because his girlfriend was in the emergency room and he had no way of leaving. i opted to plead not guilty. i have a pre-trial meeting with the county prosecutor this friday. i plan on bringing a record of my dads girlfriend being in the hospital at the time. what are some things i should bring up in the meeting with the prosecutor? what do you think the chances are of me getting off with a lesser penalty because of the emergency condition?
