I used my sisters I-Pass to travel to and from work and from what they say 16 times the transponder did not register me going through the Toll,This was a spand from july of 2006 to sept.2006 the fines are $20.00 each time plus the 80cent toll I moved in july of 2007 to Indiana did not recieve any notice that I owed this money to them prior to moving. I sent in my change of address to the post office on the day I moved yesterday Dec.13, 2007 I recieved a notice from the Toll Road stating I owed them $332.80 for violations when I called them and explained to them I never recieved the notice they in return told me they sent out another notice in Nov.Of 2007 which the due date would've been the end of Nov. 2007 well It's Dec. 2007 and the only notice I recieved was the one for $332.80.They say the new amount due is $1180. I called tried to reason with them and pay the $332.80 but they refused it and told me I would have to pay the full $1180 Is there any way I could take them to court on this? I can't see paying $1180 for $12.80 worth of Tolls. Any replies would be greatly appreciated Thank You

The first question is whether the pass was activated. Was the account current? You can pay them and then sue in small claims. You will need to check the local laws on tolls.
