I pre paid for a 1 year tanning package.I am 7 months into it.The new owner has said all previous contracts must end Dec.31st.He has offered me a partial credit toward another much more expensive and less comprehensive package.He also is has changed part of the original package so I am not getting all I paid for.Can he legally do this? Should I ask for a total refund for breach of contract or a partial refund?Shouldn`t he just let the original contract run out then start over?Thanks for any help.

Since we have not seen the contract, we can only speculate on what you can do. Here is what I think would be fair: since you have benefited from 7 months out of the 12 month contract and the owner is offering a partial credit, if you don't want the credit towards the much more expensive package, ask him to reimburse you the money for the remaining months. If he does not accept that, then you can tell him that your option will be taking him to small claims court to try to recover that. Hope this helps!
