i am a teacher in texas and i am one of the advisors for student council at my school. i recently found out that the other student council advisor stole money that was to be used for school activities. i confronted the women about the moey ad she swears there is no missing money. i have evidence thaat shows she is lying and i plan to go to my principal and inform her what has happened. how mmuch trouble will i be in being apart of this?

If you have evidence that the other teacher took the money, then you shouldn't be in any trouble. Why do you think you might also be in trouble?

i gave money to her thinking that she was spending it on the things needed for the school functions. even though i wrote down how i gave her, i did not collect receipts like i should have due to the fact i was in the middle of preparing some of the 8th graders for the 2nd administration of the TAKS test in math. i told myself that i would deal with the receipts after the test was over. this all happened in April and May. i am looked at as the main advisor for this organization, but she and i both shared the work done this school year.

In that case, then I'm afraid it may be a 'he said, she said' situation if you gave her cash. You may also be in trouble for the missing money.
