Teen Auto Accident

I'm 16 and I got in my first accident yesterday. I was turning at an intersection with the green arrow and a guy came flying out of nowhere and hit me. Since I was turning and he was going straight it was put off as my fault. I was told by several people to try for a Prayer for Judgement but I don't know what I can do. I was also told that I may lose my license since I am 16. I have the choice to go to court and try for the Prayer of Judgement or I can pay $155 and get off.

What should I do?

I've never had an accident or offense before and I don't know what my chances are?

Someone help me please....

The officer did not see the accident and it sounds like you were not at fault. Talk to your parents but you can probably get it dismissed. I doubt the other driver will show for court.
 
The other guy wasn't even told to go to court...just me. He didn't get anything...I got a ticket and a summons to court and he left free.

My court date is in 24 days...and I don't even know if I should get a lawyer...someone at my church told me I should. But someone told me something (which I dont know if its true or not) that if your insurance pays for everything it gets thrown out in court...

I'm still confused...
 
What state is this in? And, what section were you cited for?

You say you were turning pursuant to a green ARROW? If so, was it a left turn arrow or a right turn arrow?

The code section - numbers, if you please. The term "failure to yield the right of way" might be in a number of code sections.
