Hi. I live in Pearl, mississippi . Me and my boyfriend are both 16 . I have concerns that I may be pregnant. My boyfriend is stable and wants to be involved in child's life if I am pregnant. My aunt had custody of me, However the living conditions at her house are not good at all. My boyfriends home is stable, the only thing is that they are low on income. If I am pregnant, does my aunt have the right to keep my child from the father after being born or during doctor visits concerning child while pregnant? Another thing is, if my house is not healthy for me to live in while pregnant or after having baby, and I can prove this, would I be able to legally live with the father and his family?

No, if the state deems that your living conditions are unhealthy and that you need to be removed from your home, you will be made a ward of the state and placed in either foster care or a group home. Under no circumstances will you be allowed to go and live with your boyfriend.

Your aunt has the absolute right to keep you from your boyfriend. She can't keep the baby from him, but she can sure as heck ground you until you reach the age of majority...which amounts to the same thing, in a sense.
