Can I ask them to leave? They moved in before the set date on the contract. I gave them a key so they could move some stuff in to the garage before the move in date, but they moved in the house a week early. I have found out now that they do not meet the terms of the rental agreement. They have horible rentle history.

You have several problems here
1. You gave them keys and in theory gave them permission to move in
2. You gave them keys before you checked them out throughly (your bad)
3. You now must seek rent for early move in (good luck)
Now was there a lease? What does it say about:
Terms of acceptance
Term of lease
Any other conditions
You should also consult a Tenant Landlord Attorney about your rights
