My family has been renting a house to a couple for 10 years now off of one year leases that are renewed. We live out of state and have a property manager that deals with them most of the time. If something needs to be fixed the property manager pays for it with the recieved rent money and sends us the rest. We now live by our rented property and have been trying to personally survey the house. We have called, e-mailed, and snail- mailed the renters our intent, but with no response from them. Without confirmation to our notices can we still come onto the property, in particular, the house? And as of right now they have not renewed their year lease, what actions can be taken to evict them? What kind of notice? Could this situation get messy? Should we seek proffesional aid- or is this straight-forward?
