My sister and I were exectors of our Dads Will and Estate. He died 3-24-07 and we probated his Will as a
Muniment of Title with a Judge in the co. where he lived and died. Our lawyer told us that his Widow our
stepmom did not have to be at the probate because she was not mentioned in the Will.
She is now suing the Estate and us. Is there a Statute of Liminations since it is now 10-22-13. If so what
are it's guidelines and how do we respond?

Until you have had the lawsuit reviewed by an attorney and the basis of her lawsuit has been identified, its hard to sue.
There are several things that she could be contending that have no SOL.
There are a few associated defenses she might now be attempting to assert.

Your best course of action in matters akin to these (potentially serious), to speak with an attorney in your county, and/or the attorney you previously retained.

remember, it isn't legal advice, unless it has been reduced to writing, otherwise, you'll likely hear these or similar words: I never said that, It never occurred, I recall no saying no such thing.

ALWAYS GET IT IN WRITING and signed.....
