thanks

Law Office?

 A private law office sent you a letter, not the city attorney's office or some other city entitiy? Sounds suspicous, especially if you haven't been to SanAntonio since the '80s. What exactly did the letter say? Did it give you the ticket and/or warrent information? I'm not a lawyer, but a reply to those questions may help someone with specific knowledge and expertise in this area, respond to your post.

i dont have the letter with me, ill get it when i get home. there was no reference to any offense, and it was a law office and not anyone from the city of san antonio that i remember. when i get home today, ill check again and reply with specifics,
thanks

I am seeing a lot of these old tickets come out of Texas lately. Send them a letter denying you owe the money and demanding verification.

I will send them a reply and ask for verification, and even what the offense is. It is from an independent law firm acting on behalf of the justice of the peace according to the letter.
There is no mention of the offense or date that it occured. It looks more like a bill from a collection agency.
