If i recieved social security and ssi benifits can charged and offset to my account if by the bank. i have 2 accounts and one them my checks into which is my saving and i transfer money to my my checking as needed. my daughter had me as a scond on her account in 2003.. and she filed bankruptcy and was clear about two days ago they took 401.00 out of my account. i was told that they couldn't do that. but they said they took it from the account that no ss or ssi deposite was put in which is crazy its the same bank. thats all the money i get i cant pay my bills this month...i got no notifycation by letter or phone, i was unaware of the debt altogher.

You need to clear this up with the bank. The problem is that you may have had a joint bank account. How could anyone know the division of money? Good luck.
