Okay, my daddy passed away a couple of weeks ago. I live out of town but went to visit him and was there when he passed away. My step mother let me know that there was a will and that I was welcome to stay for the reading, if not, then I would get a notice/invite in the mail, from the lawyer, letting me know when it was going to be read in case I wanted to come and if I couldn't, then they would mail me a copy. Well, I did not know it was going to be read and that it had been read until I received my copy in saturdays mail. I had not been informed.
Reading the will, it states that there was a page attached of personal items that he wanted to go to certain indivisuals. There was no such page attached in my paperwork. would this mean that the lawyer didn't attach it because it didn't pertain to me?? that I wasn't listed. could I ask to see this 'said' list since I am his oldest daughter? or if I'm not on it, then its looked at as none of my business? I have more questions so I will post them separately, not to overwhelm anyone who wants to help me. Thank you much! silence
