Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Theft 2 Charges

If my husband was arrested for theft 2 because he took my car ( car is in his name too) and also my purse. Its the purse that got him arrested. After he left for jail, I found the purse on the side of the couch half way under it. I have called the officers involved & the DA which I couldnt talk to the DA because he has not read the file. Is the chances good that charges will be dismissed after I tell them the purse was found. State is Oregon.

How do you get A; the crime was committed before the purse was taken? He took the car but that also belonged to him, he never took the purse it was where I found it by the couch

Police was called because we were fighting & he hid my car. They asked me about my purse but I told them I didnt know where it was, it could be in the car I didnt know.They asked him to go get the purse & he said no he didnt know where it was. So they took him to jail. I then found the purse, even before I knew where my car was, the purse was found in the house. If he does get charged, what is he facing?
