I have a subpoena to go to court for an arraignment for a Theft 3 violation.
Here's what happened:
I was working at a hair salon and my first paycheck was short about 32 dollars. I left a voicemail on the salon owners phone but she never got back to me and acted like she never got a call the next time I saw her.
But when I got into my car and opened my check it was 60 dollars short!

I was arrested, something about stolen money, don't know nothing about that, except money stolen from my check somehow.

I have no idea what to do, what to say, what to expect, or anything about what is going to go on at this arraignment and what will happen afterwards.

Plead not guilty, admit nothing, say nothing, be polite and attired in business clothing.
Hire a lawyer, or request the court appoint one, if your finances suck. The court will explain how to qualify.

Then stay out of trouble, wait, STFU.
You talk too much.
Your yammering was edited to protect your rights.
Admit to NOTHNG, the state must prove what they've charged, you just STFU.

As noted, get a lawyer & talk only to him/her. He/she should answer any questions you might have & will get you the best outcome possible.
