I was in Wal-mart with my brother where he stole under $200 worth of items. We are both adults 22yrs. & 30yrs. and are both being charged with the same crime. I didn't take anything and nothing was found on me but some of the items stolen my brother put in my basket before he stole them. This seems as though I helped. What should I expect on my hearing date. Should I plea guilty or not guilty because I didn't take anything or will this take me through more hearings. Will the judge send me to jail and put this on my record. Is there a way to keep this off my record and stay out of jail. What might happen with my brother in this situtation. I have no money to hire a lawyer.
