In California, under Rent Control, there are 12 reasons to evict a tenant. My landlord is attempting to evict me using "economic grounds" "wants to rent the unit at a higher price" as her reason to evict. Can this be done legally?I have a years worth of malicious, discrimanatory, and ultimately rejected attempts to harrass me out of a home I have lived in for 15 years. I would appreciate any feedback, and am putting an offer out to anyone who will help me sue this landlord for her hateful and criminal attempts., such as documented perjury to Section 8!

You should report this to your agency. Keep all your evidence. Trying to harrass a tenant into moving out is not new and I'm sorry to hear about your problem. You can also claim in court that this is a "retaliatory eviction" (or at least I think it may be possible here) where the landlord may suffer from additional penalties for retaliating against you wrongfully.
