I was in relationship with a man in another country. We were supposed to get married and I was going to sponsor him to come to USA. Due to some reasons I broke off the relation and now this man is sending me threatening emails with a promise to ruin my life if I ever got married (by sending letters/emails/pics to my family and future husband), hurt me and my family and "will come over to get me".

He has already sent 3 emails .. Even if I block him he know my friends/family emails/contact info,

I am scared & worried and am not sure what to do? (should I go to FBI as he promised that one day he will come to USA and get to me)

Please help.

You could contact your local police, but there is little they (or the FBI) could do about a person allegedly making threats in another country.

If I were you, I'd get a new email address and thank God you found out how evil this bum is before you married him.

Then I'd just go on living my life.

Don't look back, look forward.

This monster will keep up his tirades, threats, and tantrums against you because he keeps you in his life.

Move on, the party is over.

Thank you Judge - I have blocked him from my emails but as we had known each other for about a year he knows my friends and have threatened to 'put me in a place that goes nowhere'

I believe, tht he was using me to come to USA and is now lashing out. Should I forward his threating emails to the US embassy in his country? I want to move forward but do not want to keep looking over my shoulder.

Desperate & Scared

Avatar, just forget him.

Our embassy can't do anything to him.
You ignore him, he'll get tired and stop.

He may do one or two more crazy things, but he'll get tired and stop.

As long as he's not on the US or an ally nation, there's very little that can be done.

If you ignore a child, they eventually get tired of being ignored and go away.

That's all you want. Peace.
