Ticketed for 84 In a 65

The ticket was issued near Cohocton, NY on I390. I cannot afford a lawyer and the NYS trooper issued a deposition with the ticket. What are my alternatives with pleading guilty and appearing in court? How do I ask for a lesser charge in order to have less points on my license? I am 22 and have not had a ticket in the last 3 years.
