My 87 y.o. mother and now deceased father entered an oral agreement to use a timeshare property for the price of the yearly maintenance fees. Now my mother told the timeshare mgmt that she no longer wants to use it. They insist that she purchased it back in 2002. I got a copy of the recorded deed. The previous owners signed over title to that week for $1.00 to my parents. They misspelled my parents name and no where is my parents signature. I asked the timeshare mgmt people to send me a copy of the contract where my parents were supposed to have purchased and she told me they don't keep those. My mother denies ever signing or purchasing this property. They told my mother she must continue paying the maintenance fees. Does she have any recourse? Thanks Kayak

Have a title company run a title search on the place.
