Can I sue a building owner who had my car towed? I admit that my car was parked illegally on the lot. I had gotten a flat tire and ended up leaving the car there. My car was towed and I contacted the owner of the building to see who had my car. I got the run around and the signs on his bulding of where my car is was incorrect. I called the person he said had my car and they claim that they never towed my car. I want my car and I want to know who can I sue for my vehicle or money. Please shed some light on this situation. Just because I parked on someone's lot doesnt mean that I shouldn't have my car.
