Traffic attachment Fees.

My friend was arrested on a minor Traffic Attachment. The judge told him he had to pay a $100 attachment fee. What is this and where is it paid?

My understanding is that a failure to appear in court of pay a fine from a traffic violation can result in a judge to issuing a traffic attachment or bench warrant for the driver's arrest. You can be arrested for a traffic attachment. I believe you pay this amount at the same place where the court is located, sometimes this is in the same building as the department of motor vehicles for the state.
