Traffic citation for entering red traffic signal without stopping

I was pulled over @ 1am coming home from work and the cop says I blew through blinking red lights. I dont recall seeing red lights, I assume they were yellow and just drove by them since I was tired and not in precision driver mode. I was nice to the cop and he gave me a citation thats $90.

I work for a company that checks your driving record yearly, and while I am sure they wont fire me, I just as much would rather the citation not show up. Should I fight it, "Can" I fight it, should I get a lawyer...blah blah blah

Of coarse I dont have much $$ at the moment as I am a working stiff.

Anyone have suggestions?

I just noticed there's a typo .. the cop entered "Gord" as opposed to "Ford", is this one of those magical instances I can get it thrown out with out fighting?

There is always traffic school or defensive driver school.
Inquire of the court, or Google it.

The typo means nothing.
Most likely the flashing red lights are still there.... do you not go home the same way every day?
Traffic school will keep this off your record but you will still have to pay the fine plus the cost of the class.
