Traffic Ticket

Yes I am writing you in regards to the ticket I received a couple of weeks ago. It was a normal ticket, but I just recently noticed that my Last name on the ticket is completely wrong . The name says Thompson instead on Thornton. Now nothing else on the ticket is wrong but I was just wondering if I should fight it and plead prejiduous. I was also talking to a couple of friends and they said that officers only have 30 days to refile on the ticket and I was wondering if that was correct?

If there is other correct identifying information (e.g., your operator's license number), then this won't be enough to get it thrown out of court.
