I was recently issued a 150 dollar ticket for illegal u turn.... i wasnt pulled over but the ticket came in the mail... that seems a little excesive considering a speeding ticket is about the same...how much should a ticket for illegal u-turn really be???

You need to contact an attorney & he/she will do all he/she can do to get the ticket reduced for you. Go to court & plead not guilty - the lawyer will tell you what your options are.

Traffic school if available, is a sure fire bet to avoid any fine.
Traffic school, investigate its many benefits.

The fine is set in the statute. Unlike a speeding ticket, the fine for an illegal uturn does not change.
You could try and fight the ticket and make them prove you were the driver.

Per info I have & have seen elsewhere, a lawyer can sometimes get moving violations including an illegal u turn dismissed or reduced to a non-moving violation with a lesser fine.
