I need to trave to N.J. to sue for $1500.00. Can I include the plane fare of $1200.00 in the suit?

No. travel costs are not recoverable in small claims. With that said, you need to determine if the expense is worth filing the claim.

Where are you flying that it will cost 1200.00?
