trust in oregon

dad died 2 months ago, lawyer is exec of trust,house is named in trust,with dad's live in girlfriend and us kids sharing 1/2 of house, so far nothing has been done, how long does the law give attorney to get things going?
House is being lived in by girlfriend at this time,
