trying to collect money

im a sub contractor i did a job for a gc and he has not paid yhe balance due it is in the thousands i have called him over 100 times he will not answer my calls i have called from diferent numbers and he hangs up he will not pay me what are my options

Your only LEGAL option is to sue him.
You can do it yourself in small claims court, or hire an attorney to sue him on your behalf.

Be advised, suing him will not necessarily get you your money. If you prevail, you receive a judgment. Then you have to enforce (collect) on your judgment. That is the hard part, collecting the judgment.
