I was recently at a cookout/music show/party at a friends house in Pennsylvania. The morning after I was sleeping in my friends backyard. Some cops who were looking for someone who had wrecked a car out front (the accident was completely unrelated to anything at my friends house) found some of my friends and me sleeping in the back yard. There were some bottles in the yard but I was not given any sobriety tests and was wondering how I could fight this?
Also I received the summons in the mail and my court date is scheduled for when I will be working in Alaska later this summer. I called the magistrate's office and was told that my court date probably won't be rescheduled months in the future and I'm not sure if they will be able to move it to before when I have to fly to AK. What can be done about this?
