Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Underage Possession of Alcohol

I am a student at a dry campus university and over thanksgiving break we must shut off all electronics. Over the break, staff will go in our room and make sure we have everything shut off. It's also a rumor that they search fridges for alcohol. I'm not stupid so I'll make sure all my alcohol is gone, but I still display empty bottles in my room for show. These bottles are completely empty and have been washed out with water. If these are found can I still be charged with possession, even though they are empty? Thanks for your help.

Also, I have shot glasses that have been used but obviously have nothing in them. I can get cited for that too? I've done a little research and learned that I may be able to get in trouble for having alcoholic references in my dorm room. Our bookstore sells shot glasses, so I was just wondering how this all works out. Thanks.

So if I buy my schools shot glasses and put them in a plastic bag and bring them back to my room and a cop comes I can get cited? That doesn't make much sense...
