Unemployment Compensation

I was temporarily laid off from my job... I have a disability that constitutes a substantial barrier to employment and prevents me from doing any kind of work except for part time work... I know I will be returning to my old job in less than two months... Because of this, the State where I live may deny me unemployment compensation... can they legally use my disability against me like this?

In order to collect UI, you need to be able to work, actively looking for work and able to accept work if offered. Since you cannot fulfill these conditions, you are not eligible for UI.
