The manager in my apartment complex has started making all kinds of rules, and they all seem to be against the kids living in the complex. She has stated that children are no longer allowed to play in the courtyard, that there is no jumping in the pool (it is six feet deep, and they like to do cannonball jumps and such), they are not to splash water out of the pool, the pool now closes at 8pm, instead of 9pm, now that it is summer and very hot in Phoenix. She also tends to shock the pool on three day weekends like memorial day and the fourth of July. There ends up being a closed sign on the gate so that we can't even use it. We live Phoenix and it is 500 degrees outside for crying out loud! She stated that the time change was due to the fact that some parents don't know how to put their kids to bed at a decent hour. Today, there were some children playing in the pool, several neighbors said, after the fact that they weren't even aware that the children were in there. It was 5pm and she told them that they had to get out because some people like to take afternoon naps. It is a small 16 unit complex, and all of the units surround the pool, so there really isn't much difference in distance from one unit to the other in relation to the location of the pool. Is this A)legal, or B)reasonable?
