Ok Heres my situation. I split with the mother of my child when i did so she did not let me see my daughter for a whole month. I had to go to court and get a temporary access order. Things were going alright i was denied access once and awhile. Went back to court and got joint custody. I live about an hour away from the mothers house but i work only 5 minutes from her. In the best interests of my child ive recieved unsupervised access mondays and wednesdays at the mothers residence. To date i have not been given a single unsupervised visit and she still continues to deny me access when ever she feels the need. I am currently filing a motion of contempt against her. The court order clearly states that i am to have unsupervised access to my child mondays and wednesdays and we both verbally agreed that thats what was going to happen. The court order states unsupervised access but she is now denying she agreed to it. Im at my ropes end here. What do i do what can i do. I pay my support i am complying with every little detail of the court order.

You are doing the correct thing.

Take it back to court and tell it to the judge.

Eventually, she'll be admonished and sanctioned, and you'll receive your unsupervised visits.

so it doesnt matter that the visits take place in her residence and not mine??? Also for all respondents i live in canada, the province of ontario. I really hate to say it but the legal system in regards to my matter seems pretty one sided, men here really have no rights.

I didn't say that.

I said you are doing the right thing by taking your dispute to court.

The judge will ultimately rule in your favor, if what you've said is entirely accurate.

Unsupervised visits means just that, anywhere YOU want to take the child.

To me, that doesn't mean you stay in her home.

She sounds like she wants YOU back in her life.

She might be doing this to keep you around her.

But, you should eventually be able to take the child to YOUR home.

She doesn't want to allow you to do that.

So, you have to take her to court.

When the judge tells her what I've told you, you won't have to stay in her home on your time.

If I were you, I'd arrange to pick up and return the child at a nearby police station.

That way, she won't be able to try any TRICKS or CHICANERY!

would u be willing to look over my order form and tell me exactly what it means im no judge nor a lawyer i feel i understand it however i could very well be missing the point
