My girlfriend was trying to be the peace maker between her best friend and another co worker at the workplace. The aggressor would tell my girlfriend that she is going to beat up my girlfriend's best friend. After some months, the aggressor tells my girlfriend's best friend that she doesn't like her. My girlfriend's BF responds that she doesn't care and she is at work to earn a paycheck. My girlfriend's BF goes in to the break room and tells other co workers what the aggressor said. The aggressor walks in and says I see you are talking about me and I will beat your a**. A supervisor walks in and tells my girlfriend's BF to leave. The word gets back to another supervisor that says she will take it to management in the morning. The next day, my girlfriend is on the elevator with the aggressor and the aggressor says I hope your BF doesn't think you are going to stop me from beating her up. My girlfriend got upset and told a supervisor what was said. The supervisor lets my girlfriend go home early and the aggressor was called into a manager's office. About 5 hours later, the aggressor sends my girlfriend a text message that says, "I heard you have been running your mouth. So wats up." My girlfriend got really upset because she now believes the aggressor is going to start harassing her. When my girlfriend went back to work, she was on the elevator with the aggressor and the aggressor asked if she got the text message. My girlfriend said no and walked away when they got off the elevator. The next day, when the aggressor was leaving, she said good bye to a few people, looked at my girlfriend and said I don't say good bye to phony people. Again, my girlfriend got upset because she doesn't want to have to deal with this situation everyday. The next day, the aggressor gave my girlfriend dirty looks and then the aggressor told a few co workers that she and a friend called my girlfriend on a three way call. Again, my girlfriend got upset and I told her to ignore them. She told me she is trying but she is afraid that the situation will eventually turn physical. Is there any advice that I can give her or is there a law that will help diffuse the situation?
