Verbal Threat in Texas ?

I am currentlly in a heated situation with a past landlord. I had completed my lease and was living month to month in his unit. I left without giving him notice and lost my deposit wich I expected. A month after I left he demanded I pay a large some of money for leaving without notice........ Durind a heated email exchange I stated " You are the worst kinda human being this world has to offer, and i hope you and your family suffers the kind of wrath that becomes people like your selves." I now its a mean thing to say but we are not dealing with a nice man and family. I did not threatin any violence, just hoping that someday someone will treat them like they are treating me. Ie trying to get money from someone unjustly. Threat? Any feed back would be nice. I live in Texas
