visiting grandparents arrangement

I am divorced and my 17 year old daughter is visiting her grandparents (my parents), my daughters mother and my ex-wife approved the visit. they would like to also visit my sister, visit some colleges she is interested in etc.., in the past we have just gone because I have been with her while visiting, I am not this time. Does she need approval from her mom everywhere she goes? That would not seem required, but the shared parenting language seems to read that way? Or am I just over-thinking this?

It is hard to say without seeing the language. However, if Mom agrees to the visit, then it seems to be fine without Mom approving every stop they make or place they visit.
