i had an altercation with my ex girlfriend a few weeks ago she came into my place of work and began harassing me and grabbing me over a cell phone i had under her name. disrupting customers and employees she was asked to leave by the manager and refused to do so. i attempted to leave the restaurant to diffuse the situation while i was attempting to leave she grabbed my arm to prevent me from leaving. i in turn grabbed her arm and pushed her away from me so i was able to leave. she attempted to approach me further and the manger blocked her path and told her to leave the premises. i was notified later that i may have injured her arm in some way when i grabbed it. she informed me that she pressed charges and that there would be a letter in the mail. i was hoping she was bluffing. i checked the mail for two weeks after no letter came. two days ago i got on a flight across country to visit my best friend for his 21st birthday and there was a possibility of me moving there because at this point i assumed that if i didint receive a notice of any kind. it was a bluff. i was contacted by my cousin today and he informed me that 2 police officers came to the door looking for me talking about a warrant. i am now on the other side of the country and do not know what to do.

You can contact a nail bonding agency in your old county.
The agency can inform you if a warrant exists, and what the bind would cost to be released upon being booked.

If its a misdemeanor warrant, and in some cases a felony warrant, you won't likely be extradited 2,000 miles to face those charges.
A warrant would exists, and you might get hassled if you're ever stopped by police in the location where you are today.
In some cases, you might even be taken to jail, and later released because MA won't extradite.

That's your call.

You can also return voluntarily, pre-arrange your bail, turn yourself in to be booked, bondsman arrives, springs you, you appear in court, plead NOT guilty, don't discuss yoru case, don't admit anything, don't try to explain, request a public defender, get your manager to chat with your lawyer as one of your witnesses, eventually defend against the trial, and let justice be done.

i just looked up my license in the states rmv database and it told me my licences was suspended due to a warrant 2 DAYS after the indecent occurred and i was never notified in any way and the police don't show up for 12 days after. in my mind this whole situation now seems suspicious because in any case she told me there would be a letter.

She had no say over you being notified.
She had no say in deciding if the prosecutor would act upon her complaint.
Your drivers license is meaningless at this point.
Even if she lied, that means nothing.
Your liberty, your freedom, your ability to earn a living are what should matter now.
Maybe she lied, maybe she told her version of the truth, none of that matters.

You have some decisions to make.
Whatever you do, don't tell your version of events to anyone but your lawyer.
The police may give you coffee, pretend to befriend you, call you sweet names, even give you cigarettes; don't be fooled.
The police seek one thing, your ultimate conviction.

If you find yourself arrested, INVOKE, simply say, "I wish to INVOKE, remain silent, and want a lawyer."
The police are very clever, and some cops think all criminal defendants are very stupid, or weak minded.
The only thing you should do is cooperate with the arrest, be polite, remain calm, obey their commands, and give name, address, telephone number, age, date of birth, race, religion, occupation, etc... (essentially harmless biographical information they already know anyway).

When you see a judge, you simply say, "I plead NOT guilty, you honor, and request a public defender be appointed to represent me."
Again, no matter how innocent it may seem, say or admit to nothing about the woman, the incident, etc..., keep INVOKING.
