I got arrested a few weeks ago, I stole $12 worth of stuff. I didn't get handcuffed or anything because I'm only 13. The police called my parents after 2 weeks, and they said I have to go back to the police station. Why?! I'm really scared. It's my first time doing this.

To answer your question: If you break any law, (minor or adult), you RISK the wrath of society, police action, possibility of arrest, a trial (if arrested), AGGRAVATION AND STRESS, possible incarceration, fines, court costs, your life could be harmed severely, advanced schooling might be impossible, jobs will be hard to obtain, your life will no longer be in YOUR hands, and the stain never goes away.

THE LESSON HERE IS: be smart, don't break the law, keep the police out of your life, give yourself a chance to become what YOU want to be, or at least try to be what you want, I stead of running your life and ending up locked away and forgotten in PRISON.

At age 13, you shouldn't be TROLLING the Internet interacting with strangers.
I suggest you speak about this recent legal problem, as well as ALL successes and triumphs with your parents.

You might also be smart to stop STEALING, as well as TROLLING the 'net!!!

You face the penalty for theft in your state. with no prior record look for fines probation and community service. You should also talk to your Lawyer about ACD or Diversion as plea option

Did your parents get you a lawyer? Talk to the lawyer about your options.
