Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft What happens after paying my civil demand charge?

I am 18 years old and I live in California.
I allegedly shoplifted and They said I took one nail polish and
there were NO polices involved
They asked for my social security number and drivers license ID
and took a picture of me as well.
They said I was prohibited to enter their store for a year
and would send me a civil demand charge.
They mailed me the letter and it came out to be $325..
I am going to pay for my demand charge, but will I have to go to court?
What will happen after I pay for my demand charge?

Not likely once you pay the civil demand and abide by ban from store you should not have named publically its over. You were fortunate. The likihood the store would file a criminal complaint now is very very low! If you pay Civil Demand the store has nothing to gain by filing criminal complaint. Again this should be over once you pay
