I was caught Escorting Without a License and have my court date coming up tomorrow. What is my likely punishment if this is a first offense and I have no criminal record?

It is a misdemeanor and carries penalties of up to $1,000 in fines and/or six months in jail. You will most likely receive a modest fine and no jail time if this is your first offense.
